Cardinal & Ordinal Number

Number terbagi menjadi dua yaitu Cardinal & Ordinal Number

Cardinal number adalah  merupakan angka yang menyatakan  berapa banyak benda, orang, hewan atau bilangan yang merujuk pada masa atau jumlah suatu barang.

Contoh Cardinal number dalam sebuah frasa  atau kalimat

-         -  One apple

-         -  five tables

-         -  twenty children

-         -  I have two apples

-          - There are twenty children

Ordinal number  adalah merupakan bilangan yang merujuk kepada suatu tingkatan  urutan, peingkat, tahapan atau menunjukan posisi sesuatu dalam daftar suatu hal.

Example  :

-          first , second , third = kesatu, ke dua, ke tiga

 penulisan singkatnya  1^st , 2^nd, 3^rd

1.     Digunakan untuk menunjukkan tanggal

2.     Digunnakan untuk menunjjukan peringkat

3.     Digunakan untuk menunjukkan posisi
